Modulcontainer for tanks on shelf with polyurethane insulated panels, spill pallet and sliding doors

The modulcontainer is the two-storey solution that allows you to safely store outdoors, by taking advantage of the height, tanks that contain hazardous substances. A decision on the suitability of the container to hold such substances always remains with the in-house HSE manager or safety advisor, who assesses the suitability of the container according to the type of substance to be handled. The walls and sliding doors that make up the structure are made using 40 mm thick polyurethane insulated panels, fire reaction class F and fire resistance NPD. The roof, on the other hand, is made up of corrugated panels insulated in polyurethane with a thickness of 40 mm (+40 mm of ridges), fire reaction class F and fire resistance NPD. Included in the standard equipment are: provision for fixing to the ground with dowels, gutter and downspouts, ventilation grids, continuous skids 80 mm; pre-painted sandwich panel sheet metal thickness 4/10 walls and roofing; internal shelving, spill pallet in galvanized carbon steel sheet 2 mm thick, removable hot-dip galvanized grating floor with 34x76 mm flat 25x2 mm mesh and load capacity 1000 kg / m2. The slides, the spill pallet, the downspouts and the profiles are all painted in RAL9002 color (but other colors are available on request).

The construction of the modulcontainer takes place in compliance with the provisions of Legislative Decree 152/06 consolidated environmental text and related standards and all of the containers are supplied complete with the following documentation:
• Watertight declaration of the tank as required by the Legislative Decree 152/06;
• Declaration that natural ventilation is in accordance with D.M. 18/05/95 with grids of dimensions equal to 1/30 of the plan surface;
• Declaration of the capacity of the grating floor;
• Welding declaration: in accordance with UNI EN ISO 3834-2.2006 with production control plan under surveillance - with qualified welders in accordance with EN 9606-1: 2013 - with welding process in accordance with UNI EN ISO 15614-1: 2012 , UNI EN ISO 9001: 15 certified quality system;
• User and maintenance manual (the operator must always use the Personal Protective Equipment as per Legislative Decree 81/08 for the operations listed in the manual).

The spill pallet is produced in compliance with the provisions of Italian legislation. In fact, it has a collection capacity equal to the greater of 33% of the stored volume and the volume of the largest container stored. To use the modulcontainer outside the Italian territory it will be essential to take into consideration the provisions of the legislation of the country of reference (for example in France 50% of the stored volume is foreseen, while in Germany 10%). According to the same logic, even the ventilation grilles are structured according to the provisions of the Italian regulations: if you intend to use the module container outside the Italian territory, it is necessary to check the provisions of the national regulations on the subject (for example in France the grilles are mandatory, while in Germany they are recommended, but the number and structure required may vary).

Depending on the model selected, handling can take place with a forklift equipped with fork extension or by crane. For models for which it is not provided as standard, handling by crane by hooking from the base can be purchased as an accessory.

Different models of modulcontainer that can store up to 12 tanks are available for purchase. To meet every need, various accessories are available that allow you to customize your favourite model. The following optional items are available: the access ramp with or without flap (with forklift pockets) and the non-Atex lighting, air conditioning and suction / ventilation systems. On request, it is also possible to obtain a spill pallet with greater capacity to be placed on the floor.
