Pallet wrapper self-propelled with mast and guide wheel

The pallet wrapper self-propelled with mast is the ideal solution for wrapping while minimising film consumption. Fully customisable according to requirements, the pallet wrapper features a control panel with 11" touch display that allows you to manage up to 6 wrapping programmes.

It is possible to choose between different pallet wrapping models based on the type of reel carriage installed. The carriage can be equipped with:

• Mechanical brake: the film tension is adjustable via a knob. Recommended for low production rates without the need for variable palletising or special wrapping.

• Electromagnetic friction: the film tension is adjustable via a panel. Recommended for low productions, but with a need to modulate the tension force during the cycle itself.

• Fixed pre-stretching: the film tension is controlled by a sensor that measures its value. It pre-stretches the film with a mechanical command generated by a pair of gears.

Recommended for loads that are not very stable, delicate or for large productions as it saves metres of film: with pre-stretching ratios of 200%, for every metre of film withdrawn it deposits 3 metres on the load to be packed. Wheels for 150% and 250% ratio are also supplied.

The pallet wrapper is designed to process:

• 15/20 pallets per hour;

• autonomy of 200/300 pallets (depending on the type of pallet, the number of turns, and the trolley used);

• palletised load with minimum dimensions 600x400x300 mm and maximum wrapping height 2200 mm (greater heights are available as an option).

Equipped both with the possibility of being forked from both sides and with a drawbar for movement, the pallet wrapper is easily transportable within the work area in total safety. Thanks to the guide wheel, it can adapt to pallets of all formats and sizes. The polycarbonate bumper system also makes the pallet wrapper impact resistant and safe for the operators using it. The pallet wrapper is equipped with sealed, maintenance-free batteries that can be recharged in the work area thanks to the built-in high-frequency battery charger (230 V - 50/60 Hz).

The pallet wrapper is compatible with standard machineable reels, i.e. with a cardboard core max. external Ø 250 mm (or 300 mm if trolley with fixed pre-stretching) - internal Ø 76 mm - h 500 mm - max weight 18 kg - thickness 16/27 my. If you need to use the machine with manual film with a Ø 50 mm core, you can select the optional additional spool holder set. Finally, an alternative photocell capable of detecting black stretch film and dark pallets is available as an optional extra. Compared to the standard version, which only recognises transparent or light-coloured materials, this solution also allows you to work with dark (black or brown) packaging (i.e. film or pallets). An Ethernet or Wi-Fi module can be integrated to enable remote control of the machine.
