Portable refrigerated container ATP 495 liters front opening

The portable refrigerated container with a 495 liters capacity by Melform is the professional ATP-compliant solution for transporting fresh and frozen food. Its dimensions make it perfect for transport in vans and is available in the basic version or with wheels. The body is made by using the rotational moulding technique, so the container is seamless, as well as having walls that are thicker than standard containers.

Different models of portable refrigerated container are available, all with an integrated refrigeration unit; some have a static refrigeration unit for greater uniformity of temperature inside the container, while others are fitted with a fan-assisted refrigeration unit to ensure greater speed in reaching the temperature. The refrigeration unit activates when the outside temperature exceeds the temperature set by the digital thermostat. The performance of the refrigeration unit is guaranteed for use at room temperature from +10°C to +30°C, while the use of the container (i.e. isothermal box) is guaranteed from -30° to +100°C.

The portable refrigerated container is available both in the basic version and in a wheeled version (wheels are made of polyamide rubber, two fixed and two swivel, one of which has a brake). All models are equipped with a hermetic compressor with an electronic regulation and control unit with overvoltage protection. The container is also equipped with 3 grids housings (grids available as an optional accessory), a stainless steel locking handle with release button and a stainless steel rod with 2 hooks integrated in the door.

The portable refrigerated container can be powered by using one of the 3 supplied cables: one for 230 Vac mains power supply and two for 12Vdc power supply (one with Anderson terminal and one with fork terminals). The accuracy of the refrigeration unit is +/-0.5 °C and the refrigerant gas is R134a (for the 0°C +10/+40°C version) or R452a (for the -25°C +10/+40°C version). Finally, the overall heat transfer coefficient : K=0.35 W/m2K.
